Like many others before me, I come to say that I love your work in the Sailor Ranko novels, and can only hope that you revive the project some day. You're a very talented writer; you somehow manage to do justice to the source material while still adding new depth to the characters. It's not often the internet is graced with free material of such quality.

Hi Burger Girl! I did a google on my name and yours came up. We have the same last name. I was born/raised outside of Philadelphia (pa) and live in silver spring now. Is Heineman your married or birth name? Me birth. Didnt get around to getting married yet. I cried when i read your Bob cat story. She looks like a very nice cat. My cat died at 18.5 years in November.
